Gluten-Free Blend Flour can be expensive and often contains gums or other ingredients that you would not prefer. Making your own gluten-free flour blend really could not be easier, so why not just make it yourself? Here is a simple recipe that I use for making my own blend flour.
Gluten-Free Flour Blend Cup for Cup
1:1 Gluten-Free flour blend substitute for Wheat flour
Ingredients
- 1 cup Brown Rice Flour
- 1 cup White Rice Flour
- 1/2 cup Potato Starch
- 1/2 cup Tapioca Starch
Instructions
- Blend all ingredients until well combine
Notes
Can be used as 1:1 substitute for wheat flour in most recipes.
All gluten-free flours and blends will perform differently than wheat. This will provide a functional substitute for wheat flour, but will not be identical in performance.
